the road less traveled

William Maloney, is a graduate of the New York University Intensive Filmmaking Program and wants to be a filmmaker and photographer when he grows up. His present interests include documentary photography, narrative and non-narrative film, long distance hiking and immersion in cultures of the developing world. Once upon a time, he created and produced an internationally syndicated entertainment news series for television, called “Reel Planet: Entertainment News For Planet Youth." Recently, he retired from the film and television industries as a lead scenic artist and is a member of IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Engineers). His heroes are ordinary people that have found the courage to overcome adversity to live life on life terms. When not traveling the globe in search of adventure, he makes his home in the sunlit hills of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
